Meet Our Keynote Speaker: Melanie Sands-Snyder
HR Executive | Leadership Strategist | Author | Founder, 7Gen Advisory
Melanie Sands-Snyder is an HR executive, leadership strategist, author, speaker and founder of 7Gen Advisory. Her career has spanned healthcare, hospitality, tourism, workforce development and organizational leadership, with a focus on people, culture and creating environments where others can grow.
After surviving a traumatic brain injury, stroke, hearing loss and aphasia, Melanie faced a long journey of rebuilding her ability to communicate, along with her confidence, identity and trust in herself. That experience profoundly shaped the way she approaches courage and leadership.
At LeadHERship, Melanie will deliver Fuel Your Fire, a message about courage, authenticity, purpose, finding your voice and recognizing what is already within you.

Teha Barker
Agency President | Uptown Insurance Agency
Teha Barker is the Agency President of Uptown Insurance Agency in Glendive. Raised on a cattle ranch north of Wibaux, she brings a leadership perspective shaped by agriculture, small-town life, business ownership, family and community.Teha began her insurance career in 2013 and developed a strong focus on farm and ranch insurance. In 2026, she stepped into agency ownership and led the transition to Uptown Insurance Agency.
As a mother of four, business owner and active community member, Teha believes success extends beyond individual accomplishments. For her, leadership is about showing up, treating people well, continuing to grow and helping the people around you succeed.

Dr. Kelly Dinnan
General Surgeon | Medical Director of the OR | Glendive Medical Center
Dr. Kelly Dinnan is a general surgeon and Medical Director of the OR at Glendive Medical Center, where she also serves as Trauma Medical Director.
After completing medical school, surgical residency and a fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care, Kelly spent eight years in private practice in Michigan. During that time, she held leadership roles, taught and mentored young physicians, and was recognized as Mentor of the Year.
After experiencing burnout, Kelly made a major career and life change that ultimately brought her family to Glendive and helped her reconnect with why she became a physician. Today, she is passionate about mentorship, self-advocacy, vulnerability and supporting other women as they grow.

Quincy Walter
Regional Director | Small Business Development Center | Great Northern Development Corporation
Quincy Walter serves as Regional Director of the Small Business Development Center at Great Northern Development Corporation, providing free and confidential business advising to entrepreneurs and small business owners across seven northeastern Montana counties.
Since joining GNDC in 2021, Quincy has helped clients move from early ideas to financing, opening, purchasing and expanding businesses. Her work earned her recognition as Montana’s 2024 SBDC State Star, and she also leads GNDC’s Minnow Tank Business Plan Competition.
Raised on a farm and ranch, Quincy understands both the challenges and opportunities of rural Montana. She believes some of our region’s best opportunities begin with a conversation, the right connection and the confidence to move forward.

Erica Milne
Director of Enrollment | Dawson Community College
Erica Milne is the Director of Enrollment and International Principal Designated School Official at Dawson Community College, where she oversees the student enrollment pipeline and leads the college’s international student program.
Erica joined DCC in 2021 as Assistant Director of Recruiting and stepped into the Director of Enrollment position just five months later. She also chairs DCC’s Student Success Committee, manages the college’s Perkins Reserve grant and serves on the Board of Directors for the Montana Post Secondary Educational Opportunities Council.
An Eastern Montana native, Erica is known for leading with compassion, investing in her team and being willing to pivot when something isn’t working. Her leadership is grounded in student success, problem-solving and continually looking for ways to improve.

Last year, we brought women together for our first LeadHERship Summit—and filled every available seat.
What we heard afterward was clear: women wanted more.
More opportunities to connect. More honest conversations. More perspectives from women in different careers and stages of leadership. And more time to talk about the things that don't always make it into a leadership handbook.
